About Gardening Extras

Gardening Extras helps UK gardeners choose the kit that makes a garden easier to look after and nicer to be in: tools, lawn mowers, hoses and water butts, raised beds, compost bins and garden furniture.

Most of what you read about garden kit online is written by the people selling it. We try to be the page you read before the shop: what each option is good at, where it falls short, and which models are worth the money for a British garden. Who writes the guides

The site is run by Iain Campbell from Bridgnorth, Shropshire. Iain has worked in UK online retail since 2014, comparing products, suppliers and specifications for a living.

How the site is paid for

Some links on the site are affiliate links. If you buy through one, the retailer pays us a small commission and the price you pay is the same. Retailers do not pay to be included, cannot see guides before they are published, and cannot buy a better position. The details are on the affiliate disclosure page.
